Aryan Electrosystem manufacture a qualitative range of APFC panels (Contactor Switching), which are manufactured using best quality material. These panels are power factor correcting system used for P.F. correction of loads with in short time. Easy to install, our range is available in both manual as well automatic functions. We offers wide range of APFC Systems that help in energy conservation by reactive power compensation under varying load conditions. These panels are provided with Thyristor/Contactor Controlled Automatic Switching of Capacitor Steps. It controls the Load Power Factor by sensing Load Current, Voltage, Phase difference between them and then analyzing the system using Micro Processor for the correction of Phase Angle by automatic switching On/Off of Power Capacitor Units.
APFC Range available: 5 kVAr to 1000 kVAr contactor switching, Air ventilation for Capacitor banks, Auto Manual facility. Designed to control smallest capacitor upto 5 kvar
Why we need Power Factor Correction
Every electric machine needs active power (kW) and reactive power (kVAr) to operate. The power rating of the installation in kVA is the combination of both: (kVA)2 = (kW)2 + (kVAr)2 or kVA = kW2 + kVAr2 The Power Factor has been defined as the ratio of active power (kW) to apparent power (kVA). Power Factor = (kW) / (kVA). The objective of Reactive Energy management is improvement of Power Factor, or "Power Factor Correction".
Principle of reactive energy management
All AC electrical networks consume two types of power: active power (kW) and reactive power (kVAr):
The circulation of active power over time results in active energy (in kWh).
The circulation of reactive power over time results in reactive energy (kvarh).
